A message from Dean Bautista: Registration for SGBM Feedback Sessions
Dear Students,
I write this afternoon with an update regarding feedback sessions as part of our efforts to address issues around sexual and gender-based misconduct at Skidmore College. 的 Office of the Dean of Students will host in-person feedback sessions for current Skidmore students beginning Monday, Nov. 1, through Wednesday, Nov. 3.
During these sessions, students will have the opportunity to ask questions and share
their own experiences, thoughts, and ideas about SGBM at Skidmore. As communicated
earlier this week,
Leslie Gomez, a nationally-recognized expert in higher education and SGBM issues, and former sexual
violence prosecutor, will participate in the listening sessions with me. 的 feedback
sessions will provide space for conversations with BIPOC and LGBTQ+ students and other
student groups. 的re are also open registration sessions available to all students.
Advance sign-up is required, and each session is limited to 45 to 60 participants due to COVID-19 guidelines. Masks will be required. Registration is on a first-come, first-servedbasis; however, we will keep a waiting list to determine whether additional sessions are needed. Students may register here. Please enter all required information and select theappropriate date and time.
I look forward to listening and learning from you next week as we work together to address these important issues.
真诚地,
Adrian Bautista, Ph.D.
Dean of Students and Vice President for Student Affairs
